Wire Lanyard Lengths
Wire Lanyards can be measured in several different
ways, thus potentially causing confusion. We adopt the widely used
standard of 'centre loop' and retain the convention of measuring
lanyards in imperial (inch) dimensions.

| Lanyard lengths are not a
precise dimension and can vary 0.5 inch on nominal length. The length is
sometimes referred to as the lanyard working length or lanyard effective
length. |

Stainless Steel Wire
Our standard lanyards are 1/16inch stainless steel
wire with a nylon coating between the crimps increasing the diameter to
1/8 inch. This coating is green, alternative colours are available to
special order, conditions apply.
The loop dimensions are not
specified as this can vary. Overall lengths up to 24 inches.
As a special construction, lanyards
in 316 stainless steel bare wire with 316 ferrules, wire diameter 1.5mm,
2mm or 3mm (see Special Lanyards).
